AI Features Notice

Last updated: 2026-10-25

NaamDhara has two features that use artificial intelligence: the AI Sadhana Guide, which answers questions and drafts practice plans, and AI wallpapers, which generate devotional images from options you choose. This notice explains what they can and cannot do and the rules for using them. It is part of the Terms & Conditions.

1. The AI Sadhana Guide

The Guide answers only from a small, curated set of passages (scriptural quotes, labelled paraphrases and our own plain-language guidance) and cites the passage it used. When nothing in that set answers your question it says so instead of guessing. Your question is sent to a third-party language model (Anthropic or OpenAI) together with those passages; your name, email and account id are not sent.

The Guide is not a guru, priest, scholar or scripture. It can misread a passage, over-simplify a tradition or be plainly wrong. It does not know your circumstances. Treat its answers as a starting point for your own study and for conversations with your teacher, not as religious authority. Practice plans are templates with a gentle first phase; adjust them to your health and time.

The Guide gives no medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice. If you are unwell or in distress, please contact a doctor or a helpline.

Free and Ad-free accounts may ask 3 questions a day; Plus is unlimited. Questions and answers are stored under your account so you can see them again, and are deleted with the account.

2. AI wallpapers

You choose a subject, style and mood from fixed menus and, optionally, a festival name. We turn those into a reverent prompt (no text in the image; the mantra is added on your device) and send it to an image model (OpenAI or Stability AI) without your identity. The result is cropped to your screen, stored privately under your account and listed in My Downloads.

Free accounts get 2 generations per week, Plus 60 per month, and purchased AI credits add to that. A generation that fails is refunded to your quota or credits automatically.

3. Content rules for prompts

Because the subjects are sacred to many people, prompts must stay respectful. The following are blocked automatically and, if they get through, are grounds to remove the image and suspend the account:

  • obscene, sexual or nude content, including sexualised depictions of deities
  • violence, gore, weapons used against people, or hateful content towards any community
  • mockery or parody of deities, saints, scriptures or religious practice
  • real people, including politicians, celebrities and private individuals
  • text designed to defeat the filter

We may add or tighten rules at any time, and we may refuse any generation at our discretion.

4. Safety filtering and mistakes

Prompts pass through our block list before they are sent, and the model providers apply their own safety systems. No filter is perfect: an innocent request may be blocked, and an inappropriate image may occasionally slip through. If you see one, report it to us with the generation date and we will remove it.

AI images can contain errors: extra limbs, wrong iconography, mixed symbols. Check an image before sharing it.

5. Ownership and licence of generated images

To the extent the law allows anyone to own AI output, you own the wallpapers generated for you and we claim no rights in them. The models are provided by third parties under their terms; similar or identical images may be produced for other users, and you should not expect exclusivity or try to register them as trademarks.

You may use generated images for personal, non-commercial purposes: as wallpapers, in personal messages and posts, and in your own devotional practice. You may not sell them, use them in advertising, present them as hand-made art, or use them in any way that breaks section 3 or the Terms. We may keep generated images to serve your downloads and to investigate abuse, and we delete them when you delete the account.

6. Data

What is stored and shared is described in the Privacy Policy, section 2. In short: the question or prompt text and the result are stored under your account; providers receive the text without your identity; nothing is used to train our own models, and we have opted out of provider training where the provider offers that choice.

7. Reporting a problem

Email hello@naamdhara.com with the date and, for wallpapers, a screenshot. Grievances: Rounit Kumar, grievance@naamdhara.com.
